About Henry Benjamin
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Henry indulged his musical interest very early in life.
In his younger years, Henry regularly listened to his father's dance band as they practiced at home.
From time to time, Henry would sit in and "Do The Vocals" and by doing so, familiarized himself with all the tunes and lyrics of the day.
In ensuing years, with constant encouragement from his father, Henry sang at birthday parties, anniversaries and also entered many talent contests, most of which he won.
Before too long, Henry moved to the United Kingdom, where he teamed up with four other musicians and was soon performing at some of the more popular nightclubs, receiving many accolades in the process.
Since his emigration to Canada, Henry has become well known and recognized, having appeared at numerous local venues, in and around the Vancouver, B.C. area and most recently was selected "Senior Idol 2010"
With his strong vocal abilities, quick wit and aptitude for impressions, Henry Benjamin is always a favourite, wherever he appears.
